Smile Anyone with a Tomtom Go950

Just wondering if anyone has the new Go950 from Tomtom? Some low life knocked off my beloved Go910 last week and the insurance company is replacing it with the 950.

Was hoping someone has this model can let me know what they think of it. The 910 had, bluetooth, mp3 player and a 20 gb hard drive. Really hope the new one is as good.

    Cheers
    Alf

Test it at Dick Smith ,Harvey Norman and so on...
I can only tell you that V8 Navcores won't work on it ,same for most third party programs.
But the device itself is definately better than your old model ,but I would still prefer a 930 ....

Thanks Downunder much appreciated, it seems to have everything the 910 does minus the mp3 player that I never used anyway. I hopefully will be still able to add all the POI's that I had on the other one or is it a different format?

    THANKS AGAIN

Maybe they needed it for a new MP3 player?

Only TT know why they change the setup , add or delete features and sometimes totally change the trusted and good working hardware.

That's why I made that joke - in regards to Tomtom using the Jukebox and the FM transmitter for a stand-alone device

I could try to make a 9.026 Navcore and include the files for the Jukebox ,but I have no chance to test it and don't know if it would work.
