    Question 862 Panel Problem

I have registered a battery fault on the alarm panel after identifying the fault analysis table. I will replace battery tomorrow.
However, I still have the following problems :
1/ the horn test , bell test and strobe test currently are not working .
After replacing the battery I assume these tests should work .

2/ The zone 1 senor in the corridor when it senses movement the alarm panel will beep 6 times. ALL other sensor are ok and working fine.
Any advice on how to resolve this problem and stop the beeping.

if you arm it and walk test and sirens work you mightbe doing the tests wrong, you have to hold the 1, 2 or 3 button in until you hear the 3 beeps. you didint bump any wires when changing the battery?

you might have accidently activated the chime function, cant remmeber the number to press off the top of my head but im sure someone will post it up to disable it

Ok ... perform walk test and all senor working fine.
Arm alarm and walk all sensor but the siren did not activiate neither did the strobe light.

I perform tests again and held buttons until till I hear beeps - but all tests failed.

I have stop senor 1 from beeping last night by taping a white sheet of paper in front of the senor.

So what do you think is wrong with panel or system...

No is not a radio PIR its all hard wired.

Zone 1 senor is working ok when I perform the walk test. It just beeps everytime the senor pick up any motion when alarm is off.

I stopped it from beeping by taping a blank sheet of paper to the senor.

    Any ideas... thanks

    Cool

Sounds like the day alarm (chime) has been activated. Hold the "4" button down until you hear three beeps. This will turn it off. Holding it down again will turn it back on.
As for the sirens etc - you could check the fuses but your codepad is working & the PIRs are working so I dont think that is the problem & there woukd be a fault No7 if it were a fuse. If the battery is flat or not connected the sirens will not work , power from the battery is required to operate the sirens.
