GSUB for DM 500s - Selectv

Hi Good People,
I have a Selectv and I'm using DM 500s.
I've downloaded GSub and installed it, but apparently I couldn't see that it is working.
The green icon on the screen is not highlighted (is it possible that at the time none of Selectv channels had no subs??).
How do I make it work?
Any particular version of GSub I should use?
Doeas it work with Selectv?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Use SCAM.
What Image are you using??
Go to the cam listings,download SCAM 3,25a, set as default cam,reboot and you will see pics.

gsub is a subtitle plugin... mate if u got pli make sure its on starting services and do a restart after install... im using gsub with alot of channels but none from SelectTV

Hi Guys,
I am using scam 3.29a, used it as a default scam and all the channels are working fine.
The only thing is that GSub is not working. I found subs very useful when my 2 little boys are running and screaming around the house and I can watch a movie.
I downloaded GSub (apparently there were 2 versions).
After installation, both versions were visible on the Setup screen (maybe that's the problem).
Started Selectv, picture good, but no subs?
What am I doing wrong?
Please help.

subtitles and cams should have no bearing on each other

alan - check out the pli forum - theres lots of stuff on subs - I never use em but apparently they do work - off course it depends on the provider sending them

anyone with select tv confirm that subtitles are there

You're right they shouldn't but I haven't used them (subtitles) so just offering a suggestion.

I just had a quick look and I only saw subtitles on TCM with my Select card but there are prob others depending on the program.

I'm getting subtitles every now and then on selectv, e.g. movie1,2 extra, discovery science, tcm etc. But they come and go with the program. I guess not all programs have subs?
