    Default Chinese Cantonese Channels

I have found alot of Chinese channels on FTA, but all of them broadcast on Mandarin (Putonghua). If any one can find Chinese Channels broadcasting in Cantonese, Please post details.

If you are interested in Chinese channels, they are on
    1. Thaicom 5 - 1 Channel (YR)
    2. Asiasat 3S - 8 channels (Hong Kong, Macau)
    3. ChinaSat 6B - All the Channels from Mainland China including radio (50+)

Theres also 4 channels on Asiasat 2 from Macau. Most of the time, the shows are in Mandarin but they have the odd cantonese show. Same applies to some of those channels that were mentioned above.

These are good lists of all the free Chinese channels on satellite though not all reach here:

Default newbie question re asian chinese channels (hong kong and surround)

    Hi guys
hoping some can point me in the right direction.

i live in SW Sydney, and am looking to access asian (cantonese) channels from hong kong etc.

i have no knowledge of what service providers there are or what is charged and what is free. i would only assume that i need a satellite to pick up these services (duh!).

could someone in the know please let me know (website, ph. numbers, other details etc.) of service providers who install satellites and perhaps even full service providers who offer pay per view subscription o satellite services.

    much appreciated!

    thanks
    Ben

I work with a couple of Asian dudes who have satellite. Bit of a secret world there. They got all they're info from their local asian newspaper. Cant tell ya what's it's called, cause it's in Asian. Had heaps and heaps of adds with satellites dishes etc. The phone numbers were there too, but agoin, it was in Asian and it all looks the same to me. Cant really give the number of the dudes I work with. They look the same and I forget easily.
