There are only two scenarios where I would say you need a rom file :
a) for support of new features - not covered by the current version
b) you messed up the GPS is no longer working

In both cases your first choice would be the manufacturer / seller.

under "restore registry to factory settings"
Follow the instructions and reformat and reinstall firmware and it will be as good as new....

Visit site and follow the instructions and you will have this new ROMvession 7DA82C.YF.F.2.26 and new Software version V3.0.12.8...all credit to PEZ

not working unfortunatelly,

that gps device has another CPU - I think ARM and therefore your firmware file doesn't work,

it must be exactly as I need:

YF.F.1211

I flashed that gps by another 82C YF firmware and I forgot that this device has new ARM CPU/processor and therefore needs

firmware 7DB82C.YF.F.1211 exactly only.

I've tried flash all available 82C fws but without success, I think right option is YF.F.1211 firmware only.

you like flashing you GPs dont you?

why did you do it in the first place? something was not working? You should try to avoid messing with your unit OS unless there is something seriously bad with it

... and now is my gps unit working perfectly.

Mate,
I need This firmware baddly.
I have a YF gps bricked when trying to upadte to a more recent firm.
Now I have exactly the same problem you had.
This firmware was the origan that came with the device.

Can you point me or send me the files?
