    Default 800HD & Fox Sub?

Just wondering what the best set up is to use with a 800HD clone & fox sub please?

Tried newcs & cccam 2.1.1 & was getting a fair bit of pixelation & picture stopping so don't think that is best option and curious what is.

    Thanks..

well, I don't know which is better. I read both are working with oscam. I use oscam->cccam->acamd combination on HTPC and it works ok. I can't connect directly to oscam with acamd using cccam or newcamd protocols but that is probably because acamd have to be modified for that.

    Cheers

EDIT:more precisely, oscam and cccam on Linux

not really with blue. try cccam or newcs, I think that would be easier than oscam. And to answer your previous question, you can setup manually everything provided it is availible for your hardware/os platform

    cheers

blue card - go for cccam alone - current version is good but anything above 2.0.5 will do the business
    Dm500, DM5620, DM600 x2, DM7000 x1, DM7020, DM7025, DM800, VU+DUO and a partridge in a pear tree

    Hi all,

Just got my additional box, an IQ2 with orange card & was wondering which is the best setup for getting my orange card to work on a DM or debian server.

I have a bluey card running on Debian/CCcam server with no issues, but not sure which way to go with the orange card.

Will an orange card work on a DM800 internal reader or do I need to go with a Smargo?

Also how to get the boxkey, I've been reading that I need the serial from STB, my serial number is a 10 digit number, so not sure if this is the one required for me to generate the boxkey. Can anyone please share some more details on this?

    Cheers

Ok well I'm still stuck with this set up.

I have pics nps at all but be stuffed if I can get it to on-share to a 500.

I've tried the C & F lines in cccam to no avail and have also tried newcs but as soon as I start that I lose pics.

Does anyone have this set up running and if so any help please or any other suggestions as like the box but not happy can't share in my own house?

    Thanks..

What image are you running please and if I have pics nps how is it a LNB issue please?

I'm running PLi and only available download for cccam is version 2.1.1.

    Change to Gemini v4.60:

The download options will provide the CCcam 2.1.4/OSCam 0.99.4 option which is about as good as you'll get with an easy menu download.

Out of curiosity does that Nabilosat patched version have samba client smbfs support compiled into the kernel?
Using the Gemini V4.6 image I'm not too happy to discover that smbfs mounting isn't compiled into the kernel so I can't add a samba client mount to access the media server.
