    If you have a wireless AP kicking around, see if it can be configured for client mode. That's all that eBay device is doing.

    You can buy a dd-wrt compatible router and run it in wireless bridge mode.

    The Asus WL-520GC is one you can find for pretty cheap, works pretty well and can support up to 4 devices so handy if you have an xbox and a few other non-wireless network devices.

    I liked the fact that it uses the Dreambox 12v power supply and very compact I have a couple of AP now but they require their own 12v 500mw power pack.

    Hi There,

    I have used the Dlink DAP-1150 (default IP addy 192.168.0.50)

    1) Setup on two way sat internet with wlan
    2) Setup on wireless broadband with wlan
    3) Wired ADSL with wlan

    easy to setup and work without any issues.

    the DAP-1150 has 3 modes;
    1) AP
    2) Client
    3) Repeater

    Cost $99.00 from Dick Smith Electronics.

    cheers

    I had an old 4port Dlink Print server with wireless on it plugged into my dreambox 800, connected to my home wireless network, worked a treat
