Hi All,
Please dont Flame or ignore me... I have searched for hours, but couldnt find what I am after.
Two Questions:
1) Is there a way to read the card info in the slot with the Nabilosat image?
2) I need to see what my CCCAM is doing. Is there an easy way to view a "debug" view? I tried running it from the cmd line, but it says that the CCCAM exe is not a present, although I can see the exe in the dir I am in.
I havent tried this for months, so I am a bit rusty on what I tried before.
Any help, much appreciated.
Rob

I am not sure about the exe, but do you not just telnet into your dm,
type cd /
type cd /var/bin
type ./CCcam -d
edit: an switching to a channel on the DM that uses CCcam.
editx2: I'm using Pli Jade on a 7020, to see Cardinfo?? I use blue key->softcam setup->yellow key "Card Info" (realizing that you are using a different image)

If you feed ducks at a pond, chances are your bound to feed a goose or two without even knowing it.

Thanks..z1gg3.
This is the cmd line I have tried, and I get the following (I am telnetting through DCC which I used to use a lot)
-sh CCCam: not found
Now, if I look at the files in var/bin, it is there.
I looked in there... Gives me every bit of info, except the card information, so I am presuming the Image I has, this has been left out.editx2: I'm using Pli Jade on a 7020, to see Cardinfo?? I use blue key->softcam setup->yellow key "Card Info" (realizing that you are using a different image)
Thanks,

Oh.. just worked it out.. I didnt have the ./ infront... doh.
A thing to be wary of is that CCcam process may already be running,... so trying to start another instance will probably fail. So you may need to kill the running process before you try starting another.
as jimbo says....
in case you dont know (i am sure you do)
type ps (at the console/command line)
then find out what process number cccam has assigned to it
the type kill xyz (ie.. kill 198) (whatever the process num is)
then run it again..

Depending upon your skills you may prefer to stop it via the blue button,.. or whatever button on the dream gives you ability to start/stop cams.
