yes it will work.
Hi,
Ive got an orange card working on a pc with phoenix but want to save pc power and run on dm500s, but am having trouble getting it to work in internal reader. I cannot access the newcs website from dm500s so I can't even see the status or troubleshoot.
Can someone tell if if the card will work in dm500s? or post their newcs config, so I can have a look what im missing?

I think my newcs is running, I can telnet and see the newcs process by doing the "ps" command. Is there anything else I should be doing? Basically if I do get newcs running, I should be able to view it in the web broswer as or telnet IP port 1001, is that right?
It's port 8080 this bit below in the newcs.xml file.
Code:<httpd> <server> <port>8080</port> <enabled>yes</enabled> </server> <user> <name>admin</name> <password>newcs</password> <accesslevel>admin</accesslevel> </user>
Yep, Im trying on port 8080 in web browser and port 1001 in telnet, nothing there, whatever it is there is something wrong, and I do have a feeling newcs has not started properly. Here is my newcs.xml (note I have been trying a few things hence some parts commented out or different port numbers etc):

you need to also configure cccam.cfg and have a line pointing to newcs in the form of
N: x.x.x.x 15050 user1 pass 1 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
x.x.x.x - your boxes IP address or 'local' should also work.
XCRUISER HDSR600HD twin sat and terrestrial receiver $OOS *
XCRUISER HDSR385 Avant - sold out$OOS UltraPlus DVB-T and DVB-S2 tuners $49 Remotes $OOS
yep I have that line in ccam.cfg, but I suppoe at this stage there is something wrong with newcs, I cannot access the status webpage.I may have to try on another box I have with a different image, this one is pli jade, any other tips? or if someone can post their working newcs file, it would be a good test.
