    Question Protect my links

    GPS Community

Just a simple question what is Protect my Links.
Have bought a GPS as per recommendations from this site, when i try to download the software you suggest in your tutorials they ask me for a credit card before i can download. This was not mentioned in any thread i read and is sort of alarming.

Yes DU i have googled this in various forms and no answer is forthcoming. What am i doing wrong.

Are these guys legit, must be plenty of 16 year old noobs who come here without credit card facilities.

Hi , It might be obvious and apologies if you are doing this , but on the page you have to copy the captcha details in the box below where it says retype captcha then click on the button marked "decrypt link" ....NOT on the red writing asking you to register ....

hope im not teaching you to suck eggs , but it works for me !

you may need to close your browser and delete all cookies and history to remove the false link ..

Problem all my own fault, was shaped back to 64 by Telstra for going over my download quota, its that slow that when i enter the details and hit decrypt the connection times out.
Last straw for Telstra they can F#@$ off. Have singed up with TPG

I can be a dickhead sometimes.

Yes ,that is Australia - would not happen in the real world ...
US ,Europe ,Japan - they all enjoy unlimited Broadband and not the fraud the Telco's serve in Australia!
Unlimited should mean unlimited - without the rubbish in the fineprint.
In Germany I can get real unlimited Broadband at 24mbps (and not just the max of 8 what you get here) ,plus unlimited nation wide phone calls , 100 free calls to any German mobile phone - and all that for less than 20€ ,that would be under 40$AU
Profit is more important here than service
    Tomtom GO730 ,Navcore 9.004 ,Bootloader 5.5256 ,Map :Australia 845.2661
ttmaps and Tomplayer on 16GB SDHC class6
Password for all my files: downunder

Those countries are all either much smaller than Australia , more heavily populated or both. It makes a big difference to costs. But thats another topic and not one for this forum.

As the OP has worked out his issue , I will close this thread as its not about gps.
