The more RAM the better for you!
64mb is lower end ,128 is better ,256 or 512 mb is rare.
Most GPS software solutions will work on CE6 as well - same goes for WM5/6.
Anyone recommend a place in Australia to buy a windows CE GPS i would prefer at least 5 inch unit but i will look at anything i just want to run some of the extra apps on the one unit that's all with out costing the earth i know i can at a last resort which i might have to do i get one from eBay or dealextreame or something like that which leads me to another question if i get a WIN CE 6 version i need to get one with extra memory LIKE 128 MB i believe ?
THANKS

Thanks any recommendations ?
Not really as there are too many devices on the market...
the best I've seen by accident on Ebay was a 7inch device with windscreen mount (don't ask me about the look in a small car).
800x480 pixel display ,256mb RAM ,2 video inputs ,remote control ,FM transmitter ,media player for most video and audio formats and for 30$ extra a reversing camera is included.
All for about200 $
So you are best of to take your time and do some research on the prices , and keep in mind that you have to transport and hide that thing too when you go out or so

Looks not bad at all.
Only thing I'm missing is a better resolution and SDHC support for the SD cards.
But just for GPS usage it is good.
Would be almost perfect with a video in for a reversing cam
Good that I don't need a new GPS ,hard to resist at that price

@NoService,
Please let us all know how much RAM it has when it arrives? According to what I have read some come with 64MB and others with 128MB. Obviously 128MB would be better.
Cheers, Ian

hehe @ DU
i purchased one of that for my brother, but i can't really report back as to how it is as he is using it .... although i have not had complaints or knocks on my door or rude emails for a few weeks since his had it. if i get time, i will check the ram
Still waiting for a proper Hi-Res 2Din unit with fast CPU more than 128mb RAM ,2video inputs and two video outputs.
I think I don't have to mention the front USB port for a hard drive or USB stick and that it should support the Australian DVB-T standard....
