    Default Teac PLMHDM1066 Turns on but Brain Dead

    I have Teac PLMHDM1066 iT turns on but all else is dead
    Has anyone had the pleasure of dealing with one of these or even know what panel it uses, as I am leaning towards the y-sus board
    Ant thoughts

    B4L, common fault with that unit, power lead from top "12 oclock" PSU pcb to bottom pcb "6 oclock" pix proccessor, goes dry joint and burns connections, remove plug base and solder direct!!
    When I explained to the guy what avatar I wanted, that wasn't what I meant!

    Hi, Im hoping one of you can help me...

    iwacelect, I read your reply to this post and wonder if it is possible for you to put this any simpler.
    Im not a TV technician but I do a good job with a soldering iron.
    Having just bought one of these plasma tv's as a not working model I would really like to fix it if possible.
    Problem sounds exactly the same as best4less had.
    Only problem is your answer didnt make quite enough sense to me.
    Any chance of more (simpler) detail or for a pic to be sent to me at toursofrichmond@bigpond.com
    This would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Alan

    i also have the same problem and was hoping someone could make it a bit clearer on how to fix maybe a picture with the area circled any help would be great

    its all good i found it the plug was burnt and pretty obvious when i was looking at it haha thanks for your help
