    Default Electrolux EWF1074 Service/Repair Manual...pretty please

I would be extremely grateful if anyone could help me obtain a service/repair manual for my EWF1074 please...and thank you. I've tried the links in this thread and all the usual online options (I'm quite willing to pay for one) but no luck so far.

PS: Hello! I was interested to find myself at this forum after a google search. I've browsed it many times over the years but never for washing machine info. I signed up this time in the hope that it may lead to the elusive service/repair manual...also gotta say that the captcha is very clever and the first time I've seen one like it.

    :-)

What about the links returned by using the following SEARCH....

The first one works for me.

Hi Tristen. I did mention that I'd tried "all the usual online options (I'm quite willing to pay for one) but no luck so far."

I downloaded that first one prior to asking for help here - It is for the main board only (as used in a number of different machines).

Perhaps if you stated the fault you are attempting to rectify, someone might be able to give you some advice.

So far, all that you have said is you require a service manual, which isn't really helpful for those of us who would like to offer technical assistance.

Many newcomers state that they "have looked everywhere" or "tried all the usual avenues" or similar.

Have you tried contacting Electrolux? (Yes, I know it's "obvious").

Anyway, welcome to the Austech forums, kirkc.

An old post but where can you source the brushes from ?

All good, ebay or local parts place has them.

    Default ewf1080

I'm repairing an ewf1080 at present. Can anyone please post the manual? None of the previous links are still working.

I'd like to know how to split the outer cabinet to make repairs easier.
The machine appears to be designed to make service difficult.

Machine more or less worked but had odd pauses of doing nothing. motor turned ok.

I had e52 error (no motor tach signal) which is often brushes. Brushes checked out OK. Then I looked at main circuit board, some evidence of blackening but no exploded components, cleaned it up with circuit board cleaner, reassembled and crossed fingers, now gives E51 error (motor triac fault, can be locked/shorted motor.) Maybe I mucked up refitting one of the brushes, it was hard to see with motor still in situ. All clues appreciated.
