Default alice in wonderland not recognised in optical drives

    HI

I tried to back up my kids original new alice in wonderland movie and it just keeps coming up in anydvd saying scanning disc. it appears then that there is nothing in the drive.

Is this some new form of anti piracy crap from disney?

have tried princess and frog and the new free willy movies from disney and they work fine
    Cheers

I have found Disney dvds the worst.....if you are not after DVD quality just download a 700mb avi from BT....heaps easier!

Hey poison your anydvd is way out of date, look for the latest 6.6.8.0 might help.

I got this to back up. took 3 different discs to do it. None looked scratched at all. Anyway I used dvdfab. Even it took 2x to do it. first time I said to put it on H drive. 2nd time I said put it in a folder in H drive and it did it.

I will look for newer version of anydvd soon

    Thanks for your input

    Cheers

I've had various problems with AnyDVD and not just on my computer but others as well.
    I now use DVD43 - it works.
