No manual means you haven't done the training. Tut tut.
Please don't play with a panel like that if you don't know what you're doing. It'll make baby jesus cry.

Nobody messes with the Jesus.
I'm guessing from your name - serverdude, that you are an IT guy.
Be aware that the Titan software looks deceptively simple however that's largely because it was badly designed (in my humble opinion) and assumes plenty of prior knowledge.
Without such knowledge, you are potentially entering a world of pain.
A World of Pain.
Good luck dude. Let us know how you go.
speaking of which if someone dos have a pdf copy of the manual could someone send me a copy due to mine is missing about 6 pages grrrr
I have had training with the panels but yes i have only worked on 1 Tecom Challenger system due to i work only mostly with only concept systems i like to stay away from tecom due to me having a problem with tecom in the past. The clients tecom that im hoping to work on tomorrow i have to add new zones as well as do some reprogramming so please guys can someone please send me a copy of the manual due to i need it by tomorrow morning it would be much appreciated.
The manuals are supplied as a part of the formal training course at DAS so where's yours?
I honestly don't ever recall having seen the manual in PDF. Adding zones isn't difficult, what other programming do you need to do?
I have a PDF of 2004 manual if interested.
Old, but in an emergency, better than nothing?
Sorry, its V8

I've got a V8 manual....
I hear murmers of V10 around the corner *COUGH*
Yes its starting to get on but why would you need to upgrade it if it does everything you need it to do already.
I would put more faith in an old vers 5.9 than some of the new crap in the market place now.
Still quite a few of them out their chugging along nicely.
Yes, version 5.9 is programmed by ras only.
The manuals for all Challenger versions can be downloaded from here:
You will need to apply for a login.
From what I understand, V10 development is well past the wish list stage.
Technically they are still at the design phase. Gabriel (for good reason) insisted on backwards compatibility. There will be four 'legacy' sub LANs on the main panel instead of just the one. There will also be a newer LAN port made available. There was talk about a SD or USB interface for programming / configuration storage but I'm not sure where the decisions went with that. The plan is to provide a web interface in to the panel also.
Has anyone else heard differently?
Now that Inner Range have finished the C5K, I’m hanging out for the ‘matrix’ panel!
Even if the new panel was to arrive on the doorstep tomorrow their would still be a lot of time needed in field testing, debugging and firmware revisions before it could be released and trusted. Its not a quick process. Maybe we should run a book on when we think it will be officially released to market. Any takers?
My guess based on drifts wink would be 18 months - Jan 2012.
Not saying it'll be here tomorrow but UTC are pushing things along an awful lot faster than GE or Tecom ever did.
Come on drift give us the info
Does anybody known when the matrix panel is coming out?
Matrix is moving along smoothly but there is no ETA as yet. IR are discussing bringing the C5K to Aussie before Matrix.
