    Default Install Picons DM800

Is there a method of install or do I just put them in the correct directory?
    cheers

What image are you using with them VIC ?
I'm running BlackHole and they don't work too well.

I'm using the latest 2 part image
    sim201e-76-gp5.00-OE1.6-dm800
    sim201e-76A-gemini2-510-dm800..

    place all picons in etc\picons

Blue panel > settings > info > set picon to on (channel reference), then set directory of picons to (as above or of choice)

now in the HD Glass 14 the channel logo will appear bottom left and looks great

Just a "make up" version to Vic's picons.
added missing picons e.g. Kids co, Playhouse, 111Hits etc.
    fixed up few crossover picons
added few more HD channels picons.
edit the timeshift channels picon (+2)

Still not 100% finished but not far away.

However, thanks again Vic for the backbone.

You can also do this on the fly, no need to reboot

Can someone please advise in which folder on a DM500 you place these picons?

Also do you need to configure anything or will they just show up.

    Thanks

Where is the option to turn picons on in a DM800HD running OpenPLi?

I have FTPed them into /usr/share/enigma2, but can't find a way to switch them on.

I also noticed that you can download picons through the plugins menu for 156E. Would it be better to go this way?

The ones online are not complete!

all you do is ftp them to the /picon folder on the dreambox 800 and make sure the skin you are running supports them.

    Cheers James9813
