I'm speechless...it's so beautifully done and it's hidden so well. I'm too jealous for words right now.

Nice conversion, what a improvement to the crappy Holden 6.

Well the way i see it, years ago the Holden Commodore was sold at Toyota dealers (Lexcen), when they did sell them this is how they should have done it.

Geez we are getting a few Vic members here with nice cars, it might be time to organize a Austech rev heads cruze this summer.

Your suspension setup looks drag (90/10 shocks), do you think the 3" exhaust is holding it back?
Running a high flow cat or a decat pipe? (i recon whats a cat? )

    What fuel pressure reg, Sard?

Nice work there, it will be interesting to see your ET times, when are you taking it up for a Calder Fri night run?

Edit; OK just started laughing, i just noted in the first pic you have a Vapor ring LPG system and a compliance plate in the Left hand strut.....What happened after the conversion, mixer ring LPG not good enough for you? ROFPMSL

Awesome conversion Dsaray, very impressed. The Import 'Compact Sport' drag race scene is now totally dominated by 2JZs with 1500hp....Great engine choice. I'd much rather an inline 6 than a V6....(if you have a run a piston engine that is...hehe )

    Worried about running at Calder?

Inside secret....(that everyone knows and does)

    Go there, say nothing.

    Do one run, get banned.

Then wear the badge of honor. (my cars so quick they banned it)

Next time return with a cage, get ban lifted.

my hat off to you , good effort. ive seen Aristos and SC400s go quite cheap nowadays . perfect donor for a good project car.
you need to know what youre buying though , they have heaps of variants in the one production run. rear sump , mid sump , front sump , different blocks , ECUs , the works.

nice work and choice with the 2Jz. I'm assuming it pulls like a mule in the commodore chassis?

you guys maybe, I'll just cruise on down the road in my slightly rusty old corolla (might have to put the stockies on for that)

I have to say people don't seem to be as logical these days, if someone told me they wanted to put a 2jz in a commodore 5-8 years ago i would have literally laughed at them while walking away, now people are all like "I want a Combi van with an RB26dett and I'll drive it every day" then they bloody well go and do it!

it's not a bad thing, the opposite in fact! I just never thought local boys would be capable of thing you used to only see overseas.
