Hey,
Just need to know if it's possible to somehow use my wireless usb modem to receive updates from card sharing? Is there some kind of adapter. Only reason is I cant get ADSL where im located, all ports are full.
Cheers.

When you do things right, people won't be sure that you have done anything at all
Yep its a telstra 3g usb modem
PM Warbo or search his posts.
He has USB > 4 port routers. I have similar in my work van that the USB modem plugs into that gives me 4 x RJ45 + wireless

Thanks, will do
They are cool the routers but in a pinch you can use a laptop or tower and just bridge /share the 3G USB modem to the computers Ethernet port and just plug the dream into that
cheers

Thanks Best,
Might go the router option sounds a little easier. that way the whole house can have wifi.
Also one other thing.. how much data does card sharing use?
SFA it wouldn't even use 500mb a month if it's set up right
With the router do some homework as the Bigpond USB modems are a bit different from the rest of the crowd thats if i remember right LOL

Cheers will do.
I have a Draytek Vigor 2719Vn modem which supports 3G failover, when my DSL connection went down, i was running a card share off 3G, it was a little glitcher than DSL, but still worked. It all depends on your signal strength i think.
