Op Cable and Dream

I have Op cable and used to run a mod GE box, is there a softcam for Op cable or what encrtption is it using ?

optus cable pay tv encryption is the same as foxtel, ie N D S, the irdeto stream was turned off some time ago...a dreambox running NewCS and CCcam softcam will work, as will other softcams, either from the card slot or in an external card reader (phoenix) and an original sub card

note that no external card readers will work with a DM600, DM7025 or the newer "plus" models, ie DM500+ and DM7025+

Can you expand on this please macca? So if I could not use an external card reader and I had a DM7025, how would I need to configure things?

you can run an Optus card in the slot of the DM7025, with an appropriate image like PLi Iolite, and use a softcam - something like CCcam - to get pics with the card

used the NDS card in the card slot with cccam
