    Default DM600, 7000, 7020, 7025 to Vista Windows Media Center - a mini howto

To add your recordings on your DM 600/7000/7020/7025 box to your Vista Media Center (Vista Home & Ulitmate) using the PLi Iolite Image .

    1. Add a drive to the \\dreambox\movies share on your LAN - say Drive "Z" (this is the default share you will find in your Vista networks)
    2. in Vista Media Center - add this new drive (Drive "Z") to your Pictures & Video library
    3. wait a few moments while it does capture of the data and posts the images as shown above on our TVNZ record DM7020

No need to transcode if you have set up Vista correctly and have all the mpeg2 codec installed, just select the video and watch it. No breakup here a perfect playout every time, but mileage may vary. Not tried on Gemini.

Not that it has anything to do with the thread - Blue button - Show installed Ppanels (example script in there too and very easy to write in xml) see etc/ppanel/ppanel_tutorial.xml for example

You mean like all of us use?

    DM7020 - Drop this code below into /etc/ppanels/ as 7020.xml = /etc/ppanels/7020.xml
    DM500 - change the words 7020si to 500 and drop into /var/etc/ppanels/500.xml

DM600/7000/7025 the same thing, you get the idea I am sure.

    Code:
<!-- This xml file is valid for PPanel in Flubber

         (C) Copyright 2006 dAF2000 PLi image team
             This Ppannel by www.jsat.tv Thailand

Default Burning my movies/hdd stuff to a DVD or CD direct from my DM hdd

With Vista media center burning a Cd or DVD of your content is easy and it is so simple to do.

    1. Select the file from the DM600 / 7000 / 7020 / 7025
    2. Right click on the file
    3. burn direct to DVD or CD

Now isn't that easy .. But mileage may vary.
