    Default Pixelation with sharing

I've got a DM7020 running PLi Iolite, Newcs 1.5 and CCcam 2.0.0 viewing a Fuxtel sub, and a DM500 running PLi Iolite and CCcam 2.0.0 sharing from the DM7020.

I've noticed that when they are both on the same channel there is intermittent pixelation on the DM7020.

Anyone know what would cause this?

just use cccam at both ends.

    Server with this in cccam.cfg:-

    ################################################## ##
    F: bedroom bedroom

    SERIAL READER : /dev/tts/0
    SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/tts0 6000000

    CAMKEY: /dev/tts/0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
    CAMDATA: /dev/tts/0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00TRY ALL CHIDS : /dev/tts/0

    SERVER LISTEN PORT : 12000
    WEBINFO LISTEN PORT : 16001

    ALLOW TELNETINFO: yes
    ALLOW WEBINFO: yes

    TELNETINFO USERNAME : z80
    TELNETINFO PASSWORD : z80
    SHOW TIMING : yes

    ################################################## ##

and for the cccam.cfg in the client just this single line and delete everything else:-

    ################################################

    C:serverip 12000 bedroom bedroom

    ################################################

assumes a jaycar at 6mz on com port of the 7020.

select cccam 2.0 as the default cam at both ends, no newcs required.

    and whitey will stay updated.

the 7020 will just yield pics without a login to itself.

Is this how the config should be for the server, if I'm just using the internal lower slot?

mine is in internal lower card reader
but I dont have a line like:-
    Code:
    NTERNAL LOWER CARDREADER : /dev/sci0/
in the CCcam.cfg - no mention of a line like that in my .cfg file
although there is for serial phoenix stuff

Ok, having a bit of trouble getting it working.

I'll start with basics, can I decode an NDS fuxtel sub in the internal card reader with cccam 2.0.0? and if so, can my cccam.cfg be blank? cos it doesn't seem to work.

    NDS : You need to
    1.Roll back to either 1.71
    2. Roll forward to 2.05 and above. 2.00 will not update whiteys either.

I still use CCcam 1.71 on the clients and 2.08 on the server.
There is also a framebuffer version of PLI ionite that seems to be very good for CS. It seems to be a smaller image with less crap loaded giving you more space in the var dir.

Cheers for the help guys, got it going.

Had to end up using CCcam 2.0.4 on the server to get NDS an IR1 working together.

    Spoke too soon.

Aurora did work initially with CCcam 2.0.4, but now it's stopped, back to the drawing board.

It's strange that Newcs 1.5 and CCcam 2.0.0 will do NDS, but CCcam 2.0.0 by itself wont work.

Any suggestions of which CCcam works both with NDS and IR1?

Would the above config work if the Pheonix is connected to a PCs serial port ? Using CCcam 2.08 ?

I'm trying to get a CCcam server only working on a Linux PC,.. with the device line changed so that the file looks like:
    Code:
    ################################################## ##
    F: bedroom bedroom

    SERIAL READER : /dev/ttyS0
    SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/ttyS0 6000000

    TRY ALL CHIDS : /dev/ttyS0

    SERVER LISTEN PORT : 12000
    WEBINFO LISTEN PORT : 16001

    ALLOW TELNETINFO: yes
    ALLOW WEBINFO: yes

    TELNETINFO USERNAME : z80
    TELNETINFO PASSWORD : z80
    SHOW TIMING : yes

    ################################################## ##
Trying the above gives me this,..

    Code:
    00:32:38.241 CCcam: ======================================================================
00:32:38.241 CCcam: starting CCcam 2.0.8 compiled on Feb 25 2008@21:35:46

00:32:38.244 CCcam: no working cam devices, no need to start pmthandler
I don't think the missing files make a difference.

Is what I'm trying possible ?

    OK sorted the config problem.

    For those interested:

Needed to indicate the type of reader on the line and also include an entry to disable DVB detection :
    Code:
    SERIAL READER : /dev/ttyS0 phoenix
    DVB API: -1
