You are forgetting that Muslims are not the only minority ethnic group in Australia. Their religious views , foods habits etc may not be shared by other groups. Sure halal menu items at kfc in high Muslim concentrated areas is culturally sensitive, but excluding an item favoured by many other Australians is bullshit.

Nothing hypocritical about my previous statement. Tolerance goes both ways.

Apart from all the red herrings, its a good read. The link to the KFC stores is cool because it gives one and all an idea where to buy the tasteless salt ridden shit WITH bacon.

The point about the whole deal for me is the defence of an out of control employee (unacceptable) who is reacting in a violent (sadly typical) non muslim fashion.

If the siuation were reversed and the employee was asked for halal food and reacted by smashing things and issuing such KFC trained pleasantries as "I'll smash you bro" I doubt that we would have the pleasure of your point by point eloquence. I suspect he wouldn't recieve counselling either, but would just be quietly fired.

Suspended ? How about sacked ? Anyone else would be for threatening to "break" a customers head.

What a joke multiculturism is in this country. As usual, we have 2 sets of rules. One for the poor bastards who were born here or came here to contribute to this country, and one for the minority groups that screw us over every day.

I don't mind minority groups, it the dick heads with the extreme attitudes and behaviors that will never sit well with the Australian way of life!!!
Imagine going to a Bakery that sell vegetarian pasties and coping that sort of shit for buying a steak and onion pie!!!!
What wrong with a polite sorry we don't serve bacon but we can offer you a bacon substitute made for vegetarians ( iv had it and its not bad)

I'd hazard a guess that "suspended" in this case quite likely is as good as "fired", but better financially for the franchise as no severance pay is warranted... being a fast-food outlet, the employee is likely casual.

Either way, there is no realistic future at KFC for this troglodyte... now that the video has gone viral, the venue will be set upon by car loads of bored "disaffecteds" looking for some sport. "We want bacon" will be their slogan, while they 'cord the encounter for posterity, and everyone will be hoping their favourite KFC employee will steal the show again.

So, unless our favourite troglodyte is the spawn of an equally dim KFC franchisee, there is no future for him anywhere near a service counter or within perceivable sight or earshot of any prospective customer.

The really funny thing is that People are asking the majority of Australians to be tolerant of KFC's that cater for the minority, & exclude the majority,

why can't KFC cater for both, make the burger to suit the customer,

(with or without bacon, halal or not halal ?)

The other funny thing is that I have worked with people who come that same part of the world as our "friend who lost it",

& the attitude of the guy who lost it is common, (but not uniform),

One guy I worked with, lost it & took to the car he was working on with a 4lb hammer (doing about a thousand dollars damage (then)), while saying "I kill you ... I kill all your family" ......why ?..... because the boss paid him by cheque & not in cash

I don't like a cheque either but I don't react like this either.
