    Thanks Xplorer for your write up. I do like the looks both inside and out of both the G6 and XR6 50th models and this is what attracted my attention. I too also thought the Commodore was a little bland looking. Gas was an option I was considering but not essential as it would be doing lots of country km's plus the boot space is essential for us with kids.

    I had to do a trip yesterday and took an Aurion. They are a very nice car that has plenty of power, handles well etc. Almost sounds like it's the sensible option seeing I tend to buy cars and hang on to them for 10yrs!

    Probably not your biggest concern as you mention holding on to your cars for 10 odd years

    but I beleive this one was industry voted best resale value

    hehe...The BA dish bushes aren't too bad as they are solid rubber (IIRC) where as the BF onwards are the rubber legged bushes (for better NVH *wank*)..and they flog out even easier...
