    Default Kyocera FS-1920

    Hi all....i have a Kyocera FS-1920 and have started getting vertical streaks through the page...I called kyocera they said ts out of warranty and its most likly the drum and its not worth fixing.Are they lieing?how much is it for a drum for the above printer?does anyone have a service manual for it...is changing the drum easy?

    No they are not pulling your leg, that's generally what happens and the cost of a replacement is usually less than the cost of a new unit these days. Maybe try another Kyocera repair agent instead though, they may be able to clean up the paper path and get you some more use out of it and also give you an actual price on the drum replacement.
    What would you do if your server was stolen or failed beyond repair?

    Is the drum included in the toner kit? I had a quick google around but didn't find an answer, though I did find a replacement toner kit for around $150.

    No the drum is not included. I dont know what the drum for these printers is worth, but I would not be surprised for it to be around the $350 - $500 mark.
