    Default Selectv stopped working

Have a valid Selectv sub in DM7000, running Gemini 4.1.0.23, CCcam_2.0.4 which has been working fine ever since I received the card. I had been away for a while and when turning back on this week it appears to have stopped working. FTA OK, can still see EPG and web stats look as follows.

    card reader /dev/sci0
handled 109(0) ecms and 8(8) emms
    Irdeto card
    Caid 619 ACS 606
    Cardserial *********** (******)
    Provider 00 043df2
    Provider 01 ffffff
    Provider 02 ffffff
    Provider 03 ffffff
    Chid 0020 - date 0xb9b valid 0x1e
    Chid 0009 - date 0xb9b valid 0x1e

Have left overnight and still no joy, tried reseating card, rebooting etc, all with same result. Can get SelectV FTA test but no decode. Signal levels all OK. Is it possibly related to any new measures that may have been introduced, ala A****R.

Have emailed SELECT, but no response yet.

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

PS,also tried in a spare DM500 I have with same results.

    Sorry you have lost me.

It is a genuine SelectV Card purchased from HotChip. Can you please explain?

they have an automated service to "hit" your card,,,

why are you waiting for an email?

If they take too long just go and buy a selectv whitey....

Ring em up, tell them your card number, it has stopped working because you had it switched off, they will send the update to you.

    Thanx Guys

Was driving me crazy checking through everything. Just called and they advised the reason I had not received an email back is that Tech Support no longer work on weekends.

The gentleman I spoke to indicated he would try to reactivate and asked me to switch off for 2-3 minutes then turn back on. We will see what happens.

Why bother blanking out the Cardserial & HexSerial numbers?

Because you can't post card details here, real or fake. tried once and got edited very quickly.

LOL, and the Provider ID ???? Its as unique as the Hex Serial Number, that was my point. Just to clarify your Provider group is 043D which has 256 cards in it, your unique Provider ID is only for your card, 043DF2 is your cards unique Provider ID number.

    Thanx for the explanation.

I thought it was the Selectv ID #

The problemo is now solved as once they reactivated it everything hunkey dorey. Will ensure I blank out the PRID next time b4 I submit any more details in open forums.

Will also ensure I leave turned on at the renewal period such that I get the reactivation key.

I have personally found that Scam 3.29a is more stable than CCcam when it comes to updating the Selectv subbie. I also get no pixelation (which I did with CCcam). Aurora does not work on Scam so I auto switch cams as required.
