Would anyone have info on an HA871 4 zone panel. It looks like a Dick Smith type panel. It was in a clients house that he has just bought & he wants user codes put in & the system tested. I'd like to at least look like I'm trying before I tell him to bin it.

Looks like the code is set with jumper pins
Thanks secure - the troubling question is "why would someone like you have such a manual?"
Unless of course it is for a giggle read while sitting on the crapper.
Hey i put one in for my neighbour when i was a trainee (1998)
NEVER had a problem EVER.
Not even a single false alarm, go figure?
I test it for him - all still works lol!
Hey Watchdog, I dont have a manual, but it accepts 1 code (Ritzy!) and it is set by Digit 1 = a, Digit 2 = b etc. Other issue is that the panel to my knowledge has only one power input, so it prob does not have a back up battery.... Was a dick smith supplied panel. Hope this helps
Fixed one of these things years ago, client was complaing that there code wasnt working, I fixed it without a book
Opened the unit up, changed the jumper (Think the code was something like 1379) for the 7, to 6 and never heard from them again Simple hehe
hi secure
i was wondering if you still have a copy of the ha 871 manual. i have just moved houses and as in the previous posts, it has a ha 871 alarm but with no manuals.
thank you

Does anyone have a manual for the related AEI HA-873 panel? I have one that seems to still function. The installation job is a bit "special" though.
Just wondering if it might be possible to make the HA-871 manual available again as the previous links have expired.
Many thank
