Default Panasonic TV intermittent picture and sound

    Hi,

I have a Panasonic TV model TX-29F150M which is giving me intermittent picture and sound.

The picture and sound will disappeared and reappeared after a couple of seconds, a "click" is heard before the picture and sound reappeared. This will happen many times within 60 minutes after the TV was switch on. Thereafter the frequency of this happening is much reduced.

Has anyone got a schematic of this model ? What could be the cause of this problem ?

This CRT TV is nearly 6 years old and may be time to change to a new LCD TV !

    only if you have too!

you will never get a pix as good as with a crt, flat screens suck. "digital representation of an analog signal" just doesn't represent a "good" pix, only an analogue presentation system can

now for all those flat screen nuts "flame suit on"

but happy to argue the point
When I explained to the guy what avatar I wanted, that wasn't what I meant!

I tend to agree. Watching sport on a digital channel is the pits and quite often I flick over to analogue.
