    Default LED backlights

Just a typical newbie question on LED backlights ....since the older CCFL style LCD TV's required the inverter board to get the fluro tubes going, do the LED TV's have inverter boards too?....since LED's dont require as much power, do they run lower voltages behind them?..

They have LED driver boards low voltage stuff.
I thought they could have got this reliable but no we have seen dry joints.
We have been able to fix these.
Instead of running on purely DC read reliable stuff .No Use PWM etc and it will be energy efficient.Ha Ha
