I found the service manual online to help me pin point which one to change if interested here is the link for my model and other models
Hi, I have a Hitachi 50ux26b manufacture date 1998, I am having issue with 1 of the 3 chips there is a blue line on magic focus out of wack indicating that I have a bad IC chip, I have found that the chip is available to replace. Part #: 2003191 INTEGRATED CIRCUIT CHIP STK4274 I have taken cover off rear of tv and located all 3 chips assuming there is (1 red, 1 blue, 1 green) I would like to figure out which chip out of the 3 are bad is there a way to test and find out which one to replace I don't want to replace all of them. are they labeled red blue green on each chip/board or do I have to remove all of them and use a meter to find the bad one, and how do I test each ic to eliminate the faulty one.

Well call me silly but i always thought / seen only 2 convergence chips
When you do things right, people won't be sure that you have done anything at all
well i guess i am silly then :P
swap them around and see if you can figure it out but i would buy 1 and swap the blue 1st
IK6 blue
IK5 green
IK4 red
You should be on the money with the STK4274 then LOL

For the price of those convergence IC's wouldn't it just be easier to change both of them.
