    Default CCcam and aurora?

I've upgraded to CCcam 2.0.8 for various reasons which means that Aurora keys no longer update in CCcam. I am trying to find a way to run aurora channels as well and was wondering what the best solution is.

Does anyone have any suggestions? If i got an id2 aurora card or a goldie would it be readable in the dream (or with a phoenix) and would 2.0.8 actively update it? Can i use CCcam to do it or would i need CCcam/NewCs. Or do i need to downgrade to 2.0.0 every time i switch to aurora and go back to using keys?

Also, does anyone know which versions of other Softcams work with aurora. It appears that the latest versions of MGcamd and Evocamd don't from playing with them, but from memory some earlier versions did. Does anyone know?

    thanks,

    p.

Whom said Ccam 2.0.8 doesn't update Aurora?
    You can also use Newcamd.

I use Evocamd 2.17 and it works fine in Gemini2 and PeterPan (and presumably most other images). Never had pay TV or any other cards - happy with aurora and the one week EPG (either MView E2 or PP's version of Graphical EPG).

    cheers

Are you using Evocamd 2.17 with keys or with a card?

You can use both versions of cccam and just associate 2.0.0 with Aurora and 2.0.8 with you other service. Just a bit slow with changing channels between the boquets as the cam's have to change also.

    SCAM 3.0 works beautifully.

I can't find the option in my image (Ltteam 4 on dm7025). I know how it works in gemini but i don't have that option.

Yes Gemini was what I refering to or try SCAM (but I'm not familar with your image) as mentioned above which is how I have it configured in a PLi imaget that can't cope with 2 cccams.

CCcam 2.08 works my aurora card just fine
Aurora in upeer ND$ in lower
I agree on the slow to change channels - but that seems to be only the first swap to Aurora after that back and forth bewteen F0x channels and aurora is same as any other channel change - seems like the issue is card swap rather than cam swap
    your mileage may vary

The best way is to use cccam 2.080 as a server in a dm.

a real valid legal aurora one
it has epsilon written on it
CCcam reports it as Irdeto card Caid 626 ACS 605
My old galaxis STB reported it as v1.7
    Newcs reports [ATR] as I R D E T O A C S V 5 . 0

Exactly which one of these tells me what it is ?

I reckon the Irdeto Access v5 is a clue that it's a version 5 card.

The LT image doesn't have that option.

Yup, Scam 3.29 works excellently with Aurora V5 cards. CCcam does not work well for me.

I have not got 2.0.8 Aurora working with keys, I thought they stopped supporting IR1 as no-one apart from Aus was still using it? Not sure though.

Anyone got a work around for keys on Aurora and NDS bluey (with card in) within same PLI image seeing as Gemini not my favourite atm ?
