It appears it can be done overseas. I have a Select v5.0 card. I have read in many posts that Jonc has shared v5 cards in Asia and I have read on other forums that others have done it so why can't we here?
Using cccam it shares for a while then stops. Usually 10mins. This is using 2Gemini 4.2/3 boxes or 2 Nabilosat imaged boxes with cccam 2.0.8.
Now I have the 'server' with Nabilosat and cccam2.0.8 and the 'client' with Gemini and cccam 2.0.0 and changed channes frequently and it ran for like 45minutes. Surely if this card works in a wifi card splitter then there must be a card cam combo that works out there?

I will make a simple statement to resolve any misunderstandings.
The Epsilon card can NOT be shared....don't bother trying.
And here's how to pick it out from all the ones on your desk...
As I said.....it does not share...don't waste your time.
I got a valid sub, and it's the best thing I ever did....
I think if the provider enables anti CS on there V5 cards they wont share, I think people in OZ where sharing before the feature was switched on by all providers in OZ?
Someone will correct me i'm shore :-)
I was of the opinion that the V5+ , watching anymore than 2 seperate channel feeds would cause the card to lockup and require a reboot.
But it being fine running multiple boxes and watching same channel feeds with active buffer settings enabled.
Reality is an invention of my imagination.

yeh I reckon....well what do you do? That's why I was suggesting to bring back the private sat forum. Been sharing between my boxes here for an hour. You may be surprised how old a version of cccam I'm using.

PS I already have a t-shirt with 'Gamma Team' on it.
I guess it depends on what month it is as Jim like me, spend our time between many places, and I2Eng is also an Occer and ex FED to boot - what a combo
Jim their Select card is like the original version of the SA DSTV Zeta's and they do work in SCAM OK for longer than 50 minutes.

Sorry Jonc missed your post beena bit sick with the flu or bird virus cant tell...
But yes the I2V5 / V6 Zeta's run without a glitch but did need new firmware for ca slot as would sometimes lock up but all fine now....
If locked up just reboot receiver.... rebooted it with slingbox if not nearby
But as you know clients many and they have no pixelation or other issues and can watch whatever they want....
Who knows about the future
