    Default strong digital recorder

    I have a strong model high defination digital tv receiver and recorder with 500 giigabyte drive I want to use to it so i can sometimes copy video via my sonysky satellite receiver. I not sure what is the best way to connect the two devices via the video and audio cables it has two tv type of slots at back but want to know if that can be used to connect the signal for te satellite tv or only the video and audio cables maybe using splitter appreciat some good advice or any website to give me some idea

    It would help if you mentioned the model number of your Strong box.

    From your description though, it sounds like it's a terrestrial DVB-T tuner.
    If that's the case and it doesn't have AV inputs, then it can't be done, unless you have a DVB-T modulator.... cheapest is around $1K

    All depends on model/features.

    i have a strong with av in that i use for foxtel ect
    check your model number and connectors on the back
    also check the strong site for firmware the latest fixed a few issues i had with mine

    model no:SRT 549A it can record games consoles etc but I am not sure how to connect it to my sonysky digital satellite box advice appreciated

    the 5495a has av in
    get an av selector/box to select game console/sat box ect

    [IMG]C:\Users\frank\Pictures\DSC00118.JPG[/IMG] and this one to connect to my satellite box C:\Users\frank\Pictures\DSC00120.JPG can this the strong digital recorder be connected to my digital satellite receiver box
