    Default DM500 backup image

    Hi ,

    I need some help about backup an image for Dm500S box . I seached around and found that using dreamup and backup button . I could not find backup button in dreamup at all . The version of dreamup is 1.3.2.1 . Could someone please let me know the right dreamup version or other tools to backup image ?

    for the backup option to show you first must connect to the dreambox

    1: power off dreambox
    2: connect null modem cable from pc to dreambox
    3: start dreamup and select the port you are using on the pc
    4: power up dreambox
    and then it will all be there

    The flashwizard network cable way works most of the time,

    the Dreamup way with serial cable works every time.

    both work but for a sure fire no stuff up method i only use dreamup

    I do as it sas but still no backup button !?

    Over 7 years old!!!

    Which method as specified in the thread did you use and is it a genuine DM500 you have, not a clone?
