Need Help Foxtel/Austar

Long time reader, first time poster.

I'm just wondering if anyone out there can help me with this situation.

I have just moved into a flat down Wollongong, NSW that already has an Austar satellite connection available.

I just want to know what equipment I need to access the Austar channels?

I currently have access to a spare Foxtel cable smartcard + set top box.

Can I use that equipment mentioned above or would I need a Dreambox with the foxtel smartcard?

Any recommendations on equipment and further set up instructions would be greatly appreciated.
