    @ Cwispy - check out post 5 for the most simplist solution which I posted a link to an A-B switch. Unlike using a splitter you then don't need to worry about if you leave a box on having it interfere with the other.

    Can the boxes damage each other if they ran with both lnb power on?

    Nope. However the higher voltage 'wins'. H=18v, V=13v.
