    Thumbs up Decoder Re-Hit

    Hi Guys,

    Has anyone used the decoder smartcard 'Re-Hit' function of off the mysattv web site. The VAST Townsville operations centre told me today, this facility is available to rectify issues when their office is closed out of normal hours. How long has this facility been running - a follow on from the auto re-hit used with Aurora platform.

    Good news yeah.

    Hos, I think the rehit feature has been around since 2011, many people have mentioned it on here in other threads.

    I've used it several times in the past year or more for my UEC4121 which spends most of it's time powered off as it's on the spare TV.

    The rehit service is excellent for almost instant pictures, otherwise it can take up to an hour for the box to pick itself up from being disconnected.

    I'm pretty sure it's been available for at least a couple of years.

    The troubleshooting page has the rehit as well as some error code troubleshooting info.


    The quickest way to do it is on the MyVast website, under "Re-activate My VAST Service", on the left side.
