You'll need a 240 to 110 power supply to use that one or buy a new power supply to suit Australia.
A 5v 1amp power supply is pretty common.

I need a bit of advice guys.
I just bought a Roku Express off ebay:
As you can see in the pic below it comes with a US 110~120v power supply.
It also came with a travel adaptor to fit Aussie power points.
BUT on the aussie adaptor it says:
2.5/250v 10amp
Is it safe to put 240v straight into the Roku power supply?
Wouldn't the travel adaptor need to step the voltage down to 110v?
It doesn't have anything on it about output so I'm a bit reluctant to use it just in case I fry everything.
Is it safe to use?

Thanks mate, I just found the one I used for my Raspberry Pi.
That will do nicely.
The seller claims this is actually a 240v power supply and is only labelled 110v~120v for the US market.

Thanks, I'll play it safe though and use the certified one I used for the Pi.
I'd hate to burn the fkn house down.
Reschs is correct about the voltages. A lot of electronics made for the USA market are only marked as 120v, otherwise the Americans get confused.
