    Default New to the box....

Hey All, Just got my DM500s from member on here. Pretty excited seems to be an all in one box!

All i am trying to do for now is run a NDS card either via internal slot or phoenix and seem to be getting no where, added phoenix to CCcam.cfg ok and detects goldie but still no pics. Then i thought maybe rescan transponders, got plenty of signal etc, now only 5 services come up. So i screwed that up!

Any pointers welcome, the box was sposed to be ready to go when i got it - and no doubt it was, must have been something i have along the way.....

    Cheers

NDS card should work fine in the internal slot. My F0x one does. Post your config.

    Default CCcam

As far as ive been told, a goldie won't work on a dreambox as the cam won't decode IR1

Ok, got GWN, WIN etc working on the autoroll. Thing with that is have telnet in and CCcam -dv then it works, if i close CMD prompt pics stop. I take it this is not normal.

    CFG below

    SERIAL READER : /dev/tts/0
    SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/tts0 6000000

    CAMKEY: /dev/tts/0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
    CAMDATA: /dev/tts/0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

    TRY ALL CHIDS : /dev/tts/0
    B: /dev/tts/0 07

While CCcam -dv is running I can see that my NDS card has been detected, but still no pics.

    punjabiz - do I replace CAMKEY: /dev/tts/0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 with CAMKEY: /dev/sci0/00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 and on everyother line.

Also tried this cfg - Thanks CoopsOz

    SERIAL READER : /dev/tts/0 phoenix
    B: /dev/tts/0 04
    CAMKEY: /dev/tts/0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
    CAMDATA: /dev/tts/0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
    TRY ALL CHIDS : /dev/tts/0

    CAMKEY: /dev/sci0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 (8 Bytes)
    CAMDATA: /dev/sci0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 (64 Bytes)
    TRY ALL CHIDS : /dev/sci0
    SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/sci0 7800000

Still no pics, if the cfg is right (and everything else) pics should show up straight away yeah?

What image? You can have more than 2 cams loaded in Gemini and Nabilosat.

Go into downloads menu, cams, and all the way down the bottom it should say old cams or something like that...

If you are going to downgrade, I suggest you remove the 2.0.8 and reboot enigma before installing the other version. Not too sure if its important to but I do it for the sake of it.

Leroy, pretty sure it is PLi. This it what i thought; that you could have more than the 1 cam.

This is how it went, Aurora was fine (Running CCcam 2.0.0). Had to re-install 2.0.8 for NDS. So i then thought i'll just have to set default for both ie: 2.0.0 for aurora, 2.0.8 for NDS. But when i tried to there was no 2.0.0 only Default or 2.0.8; so uninstalled the lot and started again. No luck.

I know i could just install another image but i wouldn't be learning much, nor to much fun.

    Cheers

Some dreams can't read goldies in their internal slots, and a number of recent cams have trouble updating keys with ID1 - some cams do work, especially the older versions of these cams. But yea, why use a goldie when you can use files

PLI allows you to have many cams installed simultaneously, just not two different versions of the same cam. So you just have to configure aurora and fox to use different cams. Probably easiest if you left cccam with aurora and used another cam for fox.

    Cheers, RHCP.
