so i did a backup of C only, that looks like i can restore from boot with f11 trick.
sound right? not really for me but im sick of reinstalling on other ppls everytime they crash them.
how do you do it mick?
every computer i work on, i slave the hdd on my computer, copy all data of "data" partition (if any) then take a ghost image of c drive partition. reinstall windows, drivers, patches.......... then take another image, this image i leave on the data partition along with all the data taken, this way if anything happens i can restore the computer to the exact same state it was given to me, i tell people to put all data in the data partition so next time i just ghost the image of the fresh install back on, also u can use ghost explorer.exe, this expands the image so u can copy data from ur old c drive.

anyway just take an image of your c drive, not the whole disk
