    Default TV Reception

    Hi,
I have noticed some info on cell phone jammers. What i have been trrying to search for is a way to cause interference or better yet stuff or block a signal from VHF or UHF. Basically the guy at a caavan park gives me the shits and watches the tele all the time and real loud sometimes too. Would like to know if there is a jammer i can get so i can flick a button and listen to him crack the shits and play with the antenna for an hour or two trying to fix it.

Sure i could go and cut his cable one night when nobody sees but would enjoy seeing him try and fix something that he cant. Maybe after 30mins turn the jammer off and when just setled back in the seat with beer flick the button again and around we go!!!

    Thanks

Put a pin in the cable shorting out the inside and outside of the antena then cut off the excess of the pin.
If you hide the pin good enough it will take him a while to find the problem.

If he doesn't find it he will evently change the cable... then do it again just to piss him off some more.

    It's worked for me

    Cool

of course you will be violating about 9 different federal laws as well.
What ever happened to the old radio inspectors driving around in their tracking vans. They used to drive around listening for the I.F. frequency of radios or TVs & then come knocking on your door to check that you had a radio or TV licence. memories

yep the pin is a good option.
the jammer will probably affect to many innocent bystanders in the park.

a mate has done similar to cbers that gave us the shits.
a small oscillator txing, a battery, an ldr to turn it on at night, all in a waterproof box, carefully placed into the spouting.

I was going to suggest getting a AM CB and a footwarmer, as these are the guys that normally annoy everyone watching Telly at caravan parks

    Copy that 174

Yup, a cheap CB radio and a boot. Remove the low pass filtering off the boot - this will make it radiate at all manner of frequencies which will upset almost every type of radio receiver in the vicinity including TV reception.

Hahaha ... we should all come and watch. Watching one human torment another (provided it's not me - but it's debatable that I'm human anway) is one of the most funny things you can witness.

I have built a TV jammer. Yes, they are illegal, yes there will be colaterial interference to everybody nearby.

One of my bosses was constantly at war with his neighbour. The things they did to each other would make a fanastic script for a movie. Oh hangon... I think they already made this movie with me in mind. Lord of War. I supplied my boss with a range of "weapons of mass insanity".
His request for a TV jammer was a challange.

The circuit was based on the worst transmitter I knew. An EPIRB. Those little beacons are designed to be noticed. If you use the same sort of circuit but with a carefully selected frequency, the result is something which can wipe out all channels at once.
He would take this transmitter into his toilet where he could see out his window into his neighbours lounge with the TV. He would then wait till his neighbour was watching the footy, and just as team was about to score a try..... Pfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff fft.
At first his neighbour did not have a clue, but it did not him take long to work out something evil was close by.

The good old pin in the coax. The simplest tactics are often the most evil.
For the worst results, don't push the pin all the way through. Sure it will stuff his reception, but it will be so bad, he'll do something about it quickly.
Instead, carefully push the pin in just far enough that it barely touches the core, then with a pair of sidecutters, cut off the remaining stem of the pin flush with the PVC sheath. The picture will be crap, but it'll still be watchable. If you get the just ballance right he'll put up with it while you pour some vineager on the pin every day to help it corrode the coax from inside out.
