Don't worry about converting your music, just fire up itunes and import your CD's, mp3's etc into the itunes library. Unlike your old cheap mp3 players you can't just drap and drop entire folders into ipods as they have their own file system. Let iTune take care of the storage for you.

    I never liked itunes.

I use a program called floola, you just drag and drop a file (mp3) into the floola window then click add to ipod and it puts it on the ipod.

    Throw it in the bin.

All that these things have done is dumb down today's generation to the point where they think that playing poor quality files through tiny earpieces shoved in the side of their head 24/7 is a "quality music listening experience".

What ever happened to listening to a radio, or sitting in front of a good home sound system?

In the days when we used to "listen to a radio" our parents were probably saying "What happened to going to the theatre" to see the news report!
