thry googling Prodeline, I found all the specs there for the 1.8m dish I have.
When I was given the dish it had no ground mount or LNB arms but the specs give me enough detail to jury rig it up.
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!

FD can vary greatly, depending on the diameter and depth of the parabola.

As mentioned, look at the specs of the dish manufacturers to give you an indication.

Some designs can even be specific to a particular feedhorn etc.

There's a plethora of information available on the web.

No offense intended, but if you need to ask these types of questions in a public forum, suggests you have very little knowledge and understanding of parabolas, which in turn will limit your chances of manufacturing success.

oh I would understand, all advice is taken with open ears and open mind.
Reading or studying satellite dish specification are not the same with the experience of one satellite dish owner. The actual performance in receiving signals might vary from each products.

    Thank you

I figured I'd revive this thread, as you are now selling/installing large solid one-piece dishes according to your post in this thread:

But it's more appropriate to ask the questions here.

    Which manufacturer and located where?

    Website links?

Specs on the dishes and mounts?

Prices and shipping to Australia (Melb/Syd)?

Pics of the dishes and mounts?

    Thanks.

    It's not 1 piece satellite antenna, it's a 320cm ku-band antenna.
precision petals aluminum forming that's makes signal reception to MAX.
and sit on king post very easy to pointing, assembling and positioning this antenna take only 5 hours.

    dongwei,

I take it you didn't end up manufacturing and marketing your own one-piece dish as per your intentions.

Instead, you are installing this dish from another manufacturer?

I'm interested in finding out more about these dishes you are using.

Would you please answer my questions about the dishes.

    Thanks

So you gave up on manufacturing them yourself?

Cheaper to import them from China I guess.

    Thanks for the info.

    It's the other way around.
Cheaper to manufacture, and I'm still going to do this one piece satellite dish.
Much better in performance no petals so signal will be more focus.
I just need to make the calculation to design dish.

    All suggestion are welcome!

Agreed, well manufactured single piece solid dish perform much better, especially at Ku frequencies.

Where in Bali are you located?

What size dish are you using?

It will be interesting to see if there are reception differences when VAST make satellite changes in September.
