Software wont up date on new tv

Happy new year to all
Ive just bought new tv its a panasonic viera et5a and when i try and do an software up date it fails and until i can do one i cant access the net,has anyone got one of these and had trouble or anyone else got a suggestion on how to fix this issue.

I think the updates are meant to be sent via terrestrial but I doubt anyone here in oz would actually do that.
You might have to ask the dealer you bought it from

yeah it was one thats why i couldnt get on the net until it been updated,all good now i gave it another go later on and it worked so all good.

Your right weirdo, I have 4 Panasonics and they all update terrestrial
