I posted recently about a DEAD VAST STB and how it was exchanged by the installer company with another one last Saturday and how I had to wait until Monday for re-activation.
Comes Tuesday AM with NO ACTIVATION (screen message E107-4, card not fully authorised) So I rings Techlife and they said they would do the activation as we were speaking but it would take 24 to 48 hours to come into effect.
This afternoon, Bugger it thinks I, on to the Mysattv site and I tries to do a 'Hit' about 3pm but I stuffed up by misreading the numbers on the Smart Card so I rings the Re-activation line and the very nice lady sorted out my number error and 'BINGO' ACTIVATION !!

NOW comes the funny (NOT BLOODY HA-HA FUNNY EITHER), the operator said my old VAST stb has been de-registered alright, BUT BLOODY Techlife hadn't given VAST the NEW card NUMBER...!!!!!!

With all the stuffing around right from day one I guess you don't want to see the name Techlife ever again.

Ahhhhh, welcome to the world of Vast. Not activations etc on the weekend plus a STB which is a hunk of junk.
