Concept CLOE interface
Hi team.
Can someone shed some light on the set up of the Concept LAN Over Ethernet? I've got it on the bench powered up, linked to my PC via the Com port. All the instructions say is to run a "terminal" program on the PC and presto you will be able to bring up all the settings you need for the CLOE.
Firstly ... how does one open up a terminal program? Is it just the CMD prompt screen? or am i missing something?
After a bit of google searching apparently you can't run the terminal program on VISTA (fista!!) and guess what my operating system is.... yep!
So am i dead in the water here, or is there a way around it.
Thanks in advance.

You can still get to a command prompt on Vista. Click on the Start menu and in the "Search" box which appears, type CMD.

You'll probably need something like Hyperterminal, which has been left out of Vista and 7. Heres a link to get it back:
The other easier option is to install an alternative, such as Tera Term:

Sorry, I answered your question about CMD but that was the wrong question. A DOS prompt is NOT a terminal emulator like what GDMtech pointed out.
You can also try PuTTY
