SBS 33 No Video only Sound.

SBS 33 seems to have gone MPEG-4.

Which means I only get sound on my Panasonic.
I do not particularly want to buy a new TV just to watch the occasional show.
Another Million TV's into land fill, wonderful.

If you don't have a TV or set top box that supports receiving MPEG-4 channels, all you will receive is sound and no picture on a growing number of channels.


Should you wish to keep your TV, you are best to purchase a set top box that also supports MPEG-4 reception.
The set top box will connect to your TV via HDMI, enabling you to keep your existing TV and enjoy the full compliment of channels.

It will also mean your channel changing (and probably sound) will be done by your set top box remote, not your tv remote.

I realise I can do the set top box routine. Digital TV all over again.
I was seeing if there was any other way.

Checked for updates for my TV today, no go.
So another good piece of electronics for landfill.
