It's not hard to program at all. It is however just another product in the mix. The Protege GX has some higher end features that push towards Cardax style features.
The standard system doesn't appear to offer any benefits over the usual suspects.

I recently installed my fifth site (replacement from tecom) with minimul hassles.
When you do the course he does offer you a panel for alot cheaper i suggest that you take it and spend a couple of days learning the different ways to progam. (Like any panel i geuss)
