Default Is there any Networking guru who can help me setup a wireless ip camera via Teamviewe

As the title suggests, I'm now bald after pulling my hair out.
I had it working perfectly, now can't view it outside the network.
    I have a dyndns account.

Payment will be a big thanks.

you need to forward the port and access it via:
    Code:
     www.hoe.com:4444/
    etc.

I believe so, but I can't see it with the canyousee me program, mind you I couldn't see the skyp ports as well,
I might be getting the ips all mucked up.

This is what i have done.

    MY computer was on 196.1.1.102
My camera was 196.1.1.50 port 3333
I port forwarded 3333 on 196.1.1.102 (is that correct) thrru the modem
I can see the camera on the network
I have the router and camera ddns both at an address and they both record succeeeded.

So on the internal network,.. you go to your PC on 3333 ? if so then you need to port forward the router's 3333 to your PC's.

you need to set the camera at 196.1.1.50 as a static address in the router and forward port 3333 to that address in the router.

then you can access it via
    Code:
    www.hughdaman.com:3333/
assuming you have your dydns set up correctly

    What
    What What

ok I've smashed my router with a hammer and now bought another one, and this is a bit different.
the ip address or my camera is 192.168.0.102 my computers ip address is 192.168.0.100
    this address accesses my camera.
in my port forward section on my modem it asks ip address which is in the format xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:xx
then the next line is the port number.
    then the protocol.

can someone please just give me those numbers.

    THanks

do u need ur PC on for the camera access ?

My assumption was that direct access to camera was all inclusive.

    Try:
    destination: 192.168.000.102:3333
    source port: 3333
    protocol: TCP

Just a download away,.. but have you verified any of what you're trying to do ?

Do your outside attempts reach your PC ?
Is there anything running on your PC listening on 3333 when you're trying ?
Is there any security on your PC to prevent access ?
Are there any useful log files anywhere ?
Can you see any attempt to access port 3333 on your PC ?

hugh, are you trying to access the camera from an external source ie: iphone via carrier ?

most modems won't work if you are trying to access them via dydns from internal network, although my billion does....

    - and using your mobile on your local lan via wireless is all good ?
    - if the online port checking proggys don't see the port open,.. chances are its not open, or nothing listening on the end device
    - some routers need to be bounced after you make changes (I know mine does when I'm messing with filters and security rules/profiles)

OK I've sorted the problem, well established why I can't do it, I bought a Telstra 4g wifi hotspot, but they hide behind a big NAT or something like that. The problem is therefore with Telstra.

Looks like teamviewer will be the way. Ugly but it'll do.

I have a wireless 3g router, I'm thinking there might still be a way.
