    Default

last time I took one over rang csd and they said all they could do was default it. So I actually defaulted it by installing the chip in a type 0 3000 board and initalised the chip and it all tested ok If you have the master code you can at least use the area walk test function to get zone descriptions if programmed before defaulting the chip save a bit of programming time.

    Default

Putting the chip in a 2000 defaults it to a 2000 chip then putting it back into the 1000 defaults it to a 1000 chip. CSD can default the installer code only on a 2000 but not a 1000

    Default

I can default user 00 and 01 in concept 1000 and 2000 panels.. but it requires 3rd party hardware..
An easy way to default the complete panel is to insert the NVRAM chip while the panel is powered up.. it corrupts the data on the chip (no it does not blow up "haters" :P), the panel then rewrites the default settings.
