what kind of Synology NAS should be the best choice?

Hey guys,

I'm almost taking the plunge to get the ever popular ds212j for my media streaming and downloading jobs.

However, after careful consideration, I realise I don't really need that much storage space for my media. Therefore, I'm taking a look at the ds112/112j.

Are there any major differences between the two besides the potential to increase storage space and ds112/112j having no redundancy (I can always back it up nightly to my external hard drive)?

when you are into downloading, there is never be enough space.
if you have full hd tv then full hd rip movie will be 1.5GB minimum (without DTS sound).

the major diff maybe the processor, 1.6 vs 1.2 and usb 3 – its pain to copy terrabytes out or in via usb 2.0.
